These are challenging times.  In light of the ongoing shelter-in-place mandate, our in-person auction event must be cancelled.  But the auction is our PTA’s biggest fundraiser of the year and helps cover the costs of many important programs, so…the show must go on!  

We cannot emphasize enough how important the auction is to our annual PTA budget.  Faced with reduced fundraising potential, we'd like to minimize the budget cuts that will no doubt be needed next year so we can continue to support school programs like art docent and student assemblies; events like our back to school ice cream social, Spooktacular, and year end class picnics; and the many contributions the PTA makes to pay for supplies for the media center, music classes, etc.  Our biggest budget line items cover significant portions of the staff salaries for our reading and math intervention specialists, our mental health professional, classroom supplies for every teacher, and field trip buses to ensure all students can go on field trips.  We want to be able to continue these programs next year, but we need your help!

Auction Tickets

If you already purchased tickets to attend the live event, we will provide a donation receipt so that you can claim a tax deduction for the full paid amount.  If you also purchased entry for the Heads or Tails Coin Toss, you will instead receive 5 raffle tickets for each coin toss entry.  

** Ticket purchases are no longer needed to attend the “live” virtual auction on April 24th.  Anyone and everyone can come!  Tell your friends and family to join us too! **

Silent Auction

The silent auction is up and running online!  There’s a wide selection of summer camps and kids’ classes, outings with our wonderful teachers, and fun excursions throughout Alameda and beyond.  Think of these items as a light at the end of the tunnel—something to look forward to when we can safely leave our homes again and life gets back to normal!  And keep checking the auction site regularly, as new items are being added each week!

Get ready to zoom!  You no longer need to purchase a ticket to attend the auction event, all you need is the Zoom app!

We’re moving to a “live” virtual format, where we’ll be able to socialize online, get into the groove, and participate in real-time bidding on our typical live auction items.  We’ll have an emcee or two, funky background tunes, and maybe a few disco lights!
